A New Year

We decided to try one of these blogs out so that family and friends we don't see often can check in and see what we've been up to. We're hoping a lot of them also have blogs.

This year is going to bring a lot of changes to our family. First of all, we are awaiting the birth of our second son. He is due in May. We are so excited to be having another boy! Just as long as Lori gets her girl sometime! The only problem we are having is finding a name we can agree on, it's so hard to find a good boy's name that will work for him even when he becomes a man. Another big change is that Rory will be gradutaing from Weber State sometime this year. His degree is in accounting. After all his hard work, he will finally be done! We are really excited about that! Along with Rory's graduation, we are hoping (well more so Lori is hoping) to buy a new house and get out of our little condo. It's been great, but we are really going to need some more room!

As for Kaemon, he doesn't care much about his new baby brother, his Daddy graduating from school, or where we live. Basically his main goal right now is to be able to make a basket on his own in his new basketball hoop his aunts got him for Christmas. He loves balls, kisses, snuggles, his grandmas, and his candle (that he insists get lit every morning). The name Kaemon means Joyful in Japanese, and it really fits him. He adds so much joy to our lives.

I guess that's the short scoop on what's going on in our lives! Hopefully I can keep up with this blog and keep in touch with friends and family!
